Microsoft Contacts
Sync each user's Microsoft 365 contacts into their VoxaLink user-portal Contacts so they can call them, kept up to date by periodic polling.
Microsoft Contacts brings each person's Microsoft 365 contacts into their VoxaLink user portal, so the people they already know are there to call without re-typing numbers. VoxaLink keeps the list current by polling Microsoft 365 periodically.
Pairing is done per user — an admin switches the feature on for the right people, and then each person connects their own Microsoft account.
What it does
- Syncs a user's Microsoft 365 contacts into their VoxaLink user-portal Contacts.
- Keeps them updated by polling Microsoft 365 from time to time.
- Makes them callable straight from the user portal.
Before you connect
- A recent platform version.
- A Microsoft 365 account for each user who wants to pair their contacts.
Set it up in VoxaLink
Admin — switch it on:
- Open Admin → CRM Integrations and find Microsoft Contacts.
- Click Configure and set Apply to — All accounts (tenant-wide), or a permission group.
- Click Save.
Each user — pair their account:
- In the user portal, open Settings → Microsoft contacts.
- Click Pair, sign in with your Microsoft account and grant access.
- A checkmark confirms the account is paired; your contacts begin syncing in.
How it behaves
Once a user has paired their account, their Microsoft 365 contacts appear in their VoxaLink Contacts and stay in step as VoxaLink polls Microsoft 365 periodically.
Troubleshooting
- Contacts don't appear — confirm the user has paired their account (look for the checkmark under Settings → Microsoft contacts) and that the admin has applied the integration to their scope.
- The Pair option is missing — check the Apply to scope in Configure includes that user, and that you're on a recent platform version.
