SME Professional
Connect VoxaLink to SME Professional so an inbound caller's number pops the matching client record in the portal.
SME Professional is a client and practice-management platform. The VoxaLink connector follows the standard CRM-integration pattern — a phone-number-based pop of the matching client record in the portal, so staff can see who's calling.
Because matching is phone-number based, store client numbers the way VoxaLink presents them so the lookup can find them.
Before you connect
- An SME Professional account you can sign in to and authorise when prompted.
- Client phone numbers stored in the same format VoxaLink uses. Matching is by phone number — if the formats differ, no client pops. Check how a number appears in Call Analytics (Call Analytics) and store SME Professional records the same way.
Connect SME Professional in VoxaLink
- Open Admin → CRM Integrations and find SME Professional under Industry Specific.
- Click Configure. In the dialog:
- Apply to — All accounts (tenant-wide), or a single permission group.
- Poll interval — how often VoxaLink re-reads your SME Professional client list: every 15 minutes, hourly, daily, weekly, or No update to stop syncing.
- Click Save.
What happens on a call
- Inbound — VoxaLink matches the caller's number to an SME Professional client and pops that record in the portal.
Troubleshooting
- No client pops — usually a number-format mismatch. Compare the number in Call Analytics (Call Analytics) with how it's stored in SME Professional; they must match.
- Client list looks out of date — check the Poll interval isn't set to No update, and remember changes only appear after the next poll.
