Redtail
Connect VoxaLink to Redtail so an inbound caller's number pops the matching client record in the agent portal.
Redtail is a CRM built for financial advisers. The VoxaLink connector pops the matching client record in the agent portal on an inbound call — matched by phone number — with a click-through into Redtail so the adviser can see who's calling before they answer.
It follows the standard CRM-integration pattern in VoxaLink. Because matching is phone-number based, store client numbers the way VoxaLink presents them so the lookup can find them.
Before you connect
- A Redtail account you can sign in to and authorise when prompted.
- Client phone numbers stored in the same format VoxaLink uses. Matching is by phone number — if the formats differ, no client pops. Check how a number appears in Call Analytics (Call Analytics) and store Redtail records the same way.
Connect Redtail in VoxaLink
- Open Admin → CRM Integrations and find Redtail under Industry Specific.
- Click Configure. In the dialog:
- Apply to — All accounts (tenant-wide), or a single permission group.
- API key — your Redtail API key.
- Click Save.
What happens on a call
- Inbound — VoxaLink matches the caller's number to a Redtail client and pops that record in the agent portal, with a click-through into Redtail.
Troubleshooting
- No client pops — usually a number-format mismatch. Compare the number in Call Analytics (Call Analytics) with how it's stored in Redtail; they must match.
- Nothing connects — re-check the authentication in Configure; the details or authorisation may need refreshing.
